We are a small charity supported by and serving people in South East Essex with over 20 years experience of helping people with young onset dementia and those that care for them.
HAVE YOU OR A LOVED ONE
WITH YOUNG ONSET DEMENTIA?
Living with Young Onset Dementia can feel daunting, whether it is yourself or a loved one that is affected. At Peaceful Place, we offer support to people with Young Onset Dementia as well as their loved ones and carers. We also support people with Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Huntingdon’s who have developed dementia as their disease has progressed.
Based in Basildon, our day centre provides stimulating, person-centred activities delivered in a safe and friendly environment as well as community based activities to help our service users to continue living life to its fullest. We also offer a free advocacy service to people living with young onset dementia and their families and monthly carers support groups.
Improving the lives of people living with young onset dementia...
PLEASE HELP US TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Our services make all the difference for people with Young Onset Dementia and their families. This is only possible because of the support of volunteers, fundraisers and those who continue to donate to this important cause. Please, help us to change lives; whether you wish to volunteer in our day centre or charity shop or you have a great fundraising idea, it all goes towards a great cause.
