Street Collectors

Saturday, May 22nd, Southend High Street

Occasionally we get the opportunity to hold a street collection on behalf of Peaceful Place to raise some much-needed funds.  One such opportunity is on Saturday, May 22nd and we are looking for 2 - 3 helpers who will need to hold a current CRB certificate.  If you can help, even if it's just for a couple of hours, would you please contact Celia Riley on 01702 546476 or e-mail: fundraising@peacefulplace.co.uk

Singers, Dancers, Musicians wanted

Our members come to our Day Centre five days a week and we try to lay on as much entertainment for them as possible.  We have had some wonderful people come in and donate their services free - whether it's for one afternoon only or one afternoon a week.   If you could entertain our members on a one-off or regular basis in any way, shape or form - singing, dancing, accordion-playing, hairdressing, manicuring, or offering a therapy - we would love to hear from you.

It has been proven that singing can help 'rewire' damaged brains and if you could come and run a singing group, that would be wonderful.

Could you display a collecting tin for us at your business, place of work, club or Church?  If so, please contact Celia Riley on 01702 546476.
