I have been with The Peaceful Place for eleven years and in that time have watched our small charity grow into the much respected organisation it is today. I am very happily married to Graham. I have four children but only my youngest daughter, Jenna is still living at home. I am passionate about interior and garden design and love to find my husband DIY jobs to do.

I am a mother of three children, who keep me busy along with my full time job at Peaceful Place as Fundraising Manager. I have lived and worked in Southend for many years and enjoy walking along the seafront with my little Jack Russell, Louis. My previous jobs have included Fundraising for Cancer Research UK and Help the Aged and I have several years experience in Volunteer Management. I am passionate about Peaceful Place, all the team at the Day Centre do a fantastic job and inspire me on a daily basis to work to raise funds so that they can continue their important and valuable work.

I have been involved with Peaceful Place for about five years as a driver and carer. I love listening to music especially Alice Cooper and Kraftwerk. I am a keen West Ham United supporter and love anything that has four wheels and an engine.

I joined the Peaceful Place team in October 2005 after a varied career of dental nursing, banking and veterinary admin. I am married to Trevor, a retired fireman and have two grown up children. I grew up in Southampton in Hampshire and moved to Essex in 1972. I enjoy Salsa, gardening, music, travel and eating.

Before I came to England I was a television reporter in Africa. Initially I joined Peaceful Place through my voluntary work with SAVs and now work four days a week with the organisation.

In 1996 following early retirement from British Gas I became a volunteer with Peaceful Place. Later I joined as a paid member of staff. I am happily married to Maria and have three children. My hobbies include supporting Southend United.

I have only just joined Peaceful Place and am thoroughly enjoying my time here.I am a mother to three wonderful children and Tom my youngest is still at home.I love going for long walks with my dog Rhea and my hobbies are cooking, cycling, growing my own vegetables, camping and playing the guitar.

When I joined Peaceful Place this year it was a complete career change for me as for many years I worked in hiring out construction equipment. I am married to Pat and we have two grown up children. I am a very keen golfer, I enjoy working on computers and helping my wife with her hobby – Pottery.

I joined Peaceful Place as a volunteer in May 2007. I have had a varied career in nursing and then local adult education. I am married to Andy and have lived locally in Rochford for many years. I enjoy reading, doing crossword puzzles, flower arranging, music and visiting historical places.
