A VARIETY CONCERT EXTRAVAGANZA - Saturday, 9th October 2010
David Stanley, Assistant Headteacher of Eastwood School is kindly organising a Variety Concert on behalf of Peaceful Place at Eastwood School in Rayleigh Road, Eastwood.
Mr. Stanley will be playing a whole variety of music genres on the Mighty Allen Organ, with guest appearances from other artistes at the school.
The concert will commence at 7.27 pm and end around 10.00 pm.
Tickets are £10 each including light refreshments and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. From experience, tickets to this concert sell faster than hot cakes, so if you want to go, it's best to get yours before they are sold out. To download a booking form click here

Quiz Night - Friday, 12th November 2010
Back by popular demand, another quiz night, but this time at a new venue. It's at the Freight House in Rochford. Time is 7.30 pm for 8.00 pm start.
There are 14 tables of 10 available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are £6 per head.

Christmas Fayre - Saturday, 20th November 2010
Father Christmas has already been booked prior to his round-the-world tour on Christmas Eve and will have sacks heaving full of presents for good boys and girls.
There will be tables laden with all manner of gifts and stocking-fillers on sale, a tombola, raffle, refreshments (including delicious, never-been-eaten before home-made cakes and sandwiches, tea and coffee and mulled wine) and more. Come along for a sing-a-long to Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer and all your old favourites!!
Opening time is 10.00 am - 12.30 pm. Admission is 50p. Children free.

Peaceful Place is able to offer reduced price tickets for the Southend-on-Sea Sea Life centre.
Normal admission prices are £9 for adults and £4.80 for children aged 3-14, but we are offering two tickets for the price of one.
